Welcome! Odds are if you’re searching for a Doula you are expecting one of the most beautiful gifts life can give; a baby! Though the idea of bringing a new family member into the home can be exciting, it can also be intimidating and overwhelming for many families. Many women are turning to hiring a Doula to serve them in their labor and birth stories, and are finding it helpful to add a Member to their team as they welcome a new baby.
My name is Anna Dunagan, and I’ve got 4 kids, currently ages 5yrs, 4 yrs, 2 yrs, and 9 months. They keep my life exciting and my experiences of giving birth to them fuel my desire to serve women! I am a Certified Birth Doula through Childbirth International and currently pursuing certification as a Bereavement Doula through the Stillbirth Academy. I love all things birth and find joy in serving women and families in their greatest moments of need. Keep reading to see how I can come alongside you in the story of your labor and birth.

A few of the services I provide:
Heat + cold therapy
Unlimited phone/text support
Support for partner
Education for coping techniques
I will collaborate with you on planning your labor, birth, and first few weeks with baby. You (and your partner) will assume much of the responsibility to document your plans. Nervous about how having a Doula might change how your partner is involved?
Available through phone call and text throughout pregnancy and two weeks postpartum to answer questions or address any concerns you may have.
Beginning at 38 weeks I will be on-call for labor until you give birth. Depending on needs, that means I can meet you at your home for at-home labor support as well.
Postpartum support typically is scheduled once baby arrives and you are home from hospital, usually scheduled within the first 2 days home, depending on needs of family.
LABOR, BIRTH & POSTPARTUM SUPPORT
I will meet you at your home or chosen birth place within 60 minutes of your call. I will remain with you and provide consistent support for the duration of your labor until you and baby have settled, usually around 1-2 hours postpartum.
I provide 1 postpartum follow-up visit for Birth Doula clients in your home within the first week.
